In der Saison 2021/2022 erlebte Leeds United eine herausfordernde Saison in der Premier League. Unter der Leitung von Marcelo Bielsa kämpfte das Team mit Verletzungen und inkonsistenter Form, was zu Bielsas Abgang im Februar 2022 führte. Jesse Marsch übernahm das Amt des Cheftrainers und schaffte es, das Team vor dem Abstieg zu bewahren und am letzten Spieltag der Saison mit einem 2:1-Sieg über Brentford den Premier-League-Status zu sichern. Trotz der Schwierigkeiten war die Saison von der Widerstandsfähigkeit und dem Kampfgeist des Teams geprägt.
