Before turning into one of Switzerland’s most respected coaches, Gerardo Seoane was still patrolling midfield for Luzern. In the 2007/08 campaign, he provided experience and tactical awareness, helping stabilize the side in the Swiss Super League. It was one of his final years as a player before moving into management, where his sharp reading of the game would serve him just as well.
