Virgil van Dijk is nowadays spoken about as one of, if not the best centre-back in the world. But back in the 2013/2014 season, Van Dijk's huge talent was yet to be discovered.
But soon after he left his boyhood club Fc Groeningen, for a permanent switch to Celtic Glasgow, everybody saw the huge talent that Van Dijk had. He helped Celtic Glasgow to win the Scotish Premiership in the 2013/2014 season, and a year later in the 2014/2015 season they won the double, including the Scotish Premiership and the Scotish Cup. Those heroics earned Van Dijk's first call-up for the dutch national team and a move to southampton in the premier league.
