Many people know Xherdan Shaqiri as a key player for Switzerland, often shining in big international games but not as much for his clubs. However, Shaqiri was once one of the most hyped wonderkids in football. In the 2013/2014 Bundesliga season, Shaqiri was in his second year with Bayern Munich. Coming off an incredible 2012/2013 season where he scored 8 goals and provided 13 assists in 39 games, contributing to Bayern's historic treble of the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal, and Champions League, Shaqiri struggled to replicate that form due to multiple injuries. Despite this, he still managed 7 goals and 4 assists in 27 games, and Bayern won the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal double.
